Pakistan squad for Bangladesh Tests announced

- Saud Shakeel named as new Test vice-captain.
- Team Bangladesh will arrive in Islamabad on 17 August for the ICC World Test Crowns matches.
- Pak vs Ban test match series held in Rawalpindi and Karachi.
- Pickers also verified Pakistan Shaheen’s team for the first four-day match against Bangladesh’ A’; Said will lead the side, which includes eight Test probables.
Lahore, 7 August 2024
- Pakistan Cricket Board’s men’s public selection commission blazoned a 17-member Pakistan team for the ICC World Test Championship institutions against Bangladesh.
- The first Test will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from 21 to 25 August, while the alternate Test will be held in Karachi from 30 August to 3 September.
- The Pakistan Test side’s training camp will commence at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on 11 August. Red-ball head trainer Jason Gillespie and assistant trainer Altar Mahmood will supervise it.

- Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel(vice-captain), Amir Jamal (subject to Fitness), Abdullah Shafiq, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Adam, Kámrán Ghulam, Hurrah Shaheed, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huerta, Mohammad Rizal ( Wicket-keeper), Naseem Shah, Said Ayub, Salman Ali, Surfraze Ahmed ( wicket-keeper) and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
